- Mendelssohn - Hebrides Overture (Fingal's Cave)
- Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony - Movements 1 and 3.
The concert will be conducted by the internationally-acclaimed Hungarian-born
Moshe Atzmon, who has been the Orchestra's principal guest conductor for a
number of years. Tickets are priced £6 and £4, and these are available on the door or in advance.

Come and play
SEYSO is inviting orchestral musicians to come and play.
Alot of new players have joined as a result and all will
be made welcome and introduced to new friends.
Orchestral training workshops
SEYSO has held a series of monthly orchestral
training workshops in 2006, on the last Sunday
of the month.
These events are designed to train young musicians in
the art of ensemble and orchestral playing, to help them
develop an awareness of the music and to show how skilled
interpretation can transform a performance. Workshops
continue throughout 2008.
Rehearsals were followed by a short concert to family
and friends.

Membership and Fee Structure
Membership of SEYSO is open to orchestral instrumentalists
from about grade 4 on their instrument. For beginners
up to about grade 5, an associated group, the South Essex
Youth Training Orchestra (SEYTO), meets at approximately
the same times and on the same premises.
Annual Membership of SEYSO is £10, with a charge
of just £5 then made for each event day attended.
A Season Ticket is available at £50 covering Membership
and all events in 2007.
There is a 20% discount granted to siblings.
There is no annual fee associated with SEYTO, just a
charge of £5 for
each event day attended. A Season Ticket is available
at £45 covering all SEYTO events in 2007.
